Meet the Therapist & Owner
Hi, I’m Beth McCarthy, the founder of Tiny Talkers. For the past 18 years, I’ve had the joy of walking alongside children and their families as a speech-language pathologist, specializing in early childhood communication. I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Speech Pathology from Fontbonne University. While I have a special passion for working with late talkers, I also support children with speech sound disorders, language delays, and social language skills.
I provide individualized therapy in homes, daycares, and preschools, making services accessible and meaningful in the environments where children learn and play every day. My approach is play-based, child-centered, and personalized — therapy reflects each child’s unique strengths, needs, and interests. I also partner closely with parents and caregivers, offering coaching and practical strategies so families feel confident supporting communication beyond therapy. I have completed training in the Hanen It Takes Two to Talk® program, which equips me to integrate parent-focused strategies into my work and help families feel empowered in supporting their child’s communication.
Outside of my work, I’m a wife and mom to two wonderful girls. I love going on walks with my dog, Milo, spending time with my family, sipping coffee on my screened-in porch, and expressing creativity through interior decorating and design. These passions fuel my belief that every child and family’s story is beautifully unique — and it’s my privilege to support yours.
